We Have an Announcement…

We are excited to share an important Tableair milestone. We’ve been listening to your feedback and are about to release new products that will allow Tableair to achieve maximum reach within your workplace, and allow you to optimise your office space.

In recent months our dedicated team of engineers have been working hard to package the main technology behind our premium desk into 2 type of sensors that will be able to connect any workstation to our mobile app and cloud booking system.

We will continue to develop our partnership with furniture dealers so they can help their clients to retrofit their existing “dumb” furniture into “smart” (technology integrated) furniture that can connect to our cloud software. In parallel, we have also began teaming-up with leading furniture manufacturers of height adjustable desks so they can integrate our original smart button directly into their furniture. This will allow us to concentrate on our core expertise – the technology.

Presenting…Tableair Cloud

This easy to use software is available on any browser, as well as iOS or Android devices. Presently TableAir cloud is mainly designed for activity based workplaces where it’s possible to book an item (desk, meeting room, soft seating etc.) for a certain period of time. But we don’t intend to stop there- our long term goal is to offer a solution that will integrate office furniture and meeting rooms into a single workplace operating system.

Sensors Overview

Our smart sensors can connect bookable items to TableAir cloud. They come with integrated or optional LED lights to indicate if the bookable items are free, occupied or ready for check-in.

The Smart Button 1 (SB1)

Overview: The SB1 replaces the standard up and down handset for electric height adjustable desks. It includes a “touch-less lifting” feature which incorporates infrared technology to create a more engaging experience and unique table lift. The LED light ring on the surface of the SB1 serves as a desk status indicator (free, occupied, checked-in etc.).

Technical specifications : Bluetooth for wireless control and user identification, Wifi for direct connection to TableAir cloud. Infrared sensors for touchless lifting. The SB1 is powered by the control box.

Distribution model: The SB1 is only offered to furniture manufacturers.

The Smart Button U (SBU) + Traffic Light (TL)

Overview: The SBU is a hybrid sensor with the same Wifi and Bluetooth connectability as the SB1. It can be linked to any existing electric height adjustable desk by connecting it directly to the control box. For fixed desk or other bookable items (eg. soft seating or meeting room) the SBU can be powered via USB. The SBU can be connected to the Traffic Light, which will then indicate your item status with LED lights.

SBU Technical specifications: Bluetooth for wireless control and user identification. Wifi for direct connection to TableAir cloud. The SBU may be powered by either a control box for electric height adjustable desks, or by a standard USB charger for custom bookable items (eg. fixed desk, meeting room, soft seating etc.)

TL Technical specifications: The TL is powered by the SBU

Distribution model: The SBU is offered to furniture manufacturers, furniture dealers and final clients.

When Will It Be Available?

We are planning to launch our new website and marketing materials in February 2017.

We have begun putting together a waiting list to select key pilot projects for the Freemium and Freemium +. The goal is to onboard our first users individually, provide tailored support and collect detailed feedback. The premium version will then be released in early Q2 .

Important note: As we’ve been concentrating all our efforts on the R&D front to perfect our new sensors, we have taken the decision to pause production of the TableAir Classic (furniture) for the time being. The newly improved version of the TableAir Classic- complete with our new sensors – will re-launch production in early Q2.

What Is New for You?
